The Society for Endocrinology journals site is designed to strictly adhere to internet standards and all site pages make use of XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Some older browsers may not fully and properly display sites using these features, and we recommend that you upgrade to the latest production version of your browser for optimal site performance. Please refer to our browser recommendations for more information on the various browser versions we support.
JavaScript is utilized throughout the site for added versatility of certain features. For example, JavaScript allows you to view expanded figures within the article text (follow the View larger version in this page link in the figure view). Without JavaScript enabled, you will only be able to view the expanded figure in your existing window, replacing the article view.
JavaScript is enabled in browsers by default, though some users may have manually disabled this feature. We recommend that you enable JavaScript in your browser preference settings in order to take full advantage of site design and features.
The site display is generally divided into three main sections, and this display format is seen on nearly all site pages.
The main area is the content display and is where you will find article views, search results, and Tables of Contents pages. The middle column will contain page-specific information and tools appropriate to the page you are viewing. For example, article views contain links and information specific to that article, including citation information, links to set up email alerts, and links to view other articles related to the displayed article. The rightmost column contains much of the journal information that is typically found on the Society for Endocrinology journals home page and allows for easy access to this information from all internal site pages.
